MBEA Conference

Good afternoon,

I would like to invite you and any of your colleagues who teach business or technology courses to the annual fall Mississippi Business Education Association conference. It will be at the Marriott in Jackson (located on Amite Street). The date is Friday, September 18. The conference will begin at 8 and end at 3:30. Registration check-in will begin at 7:30.

We have an exciting event planned. As mentioned in a previous message, Dr. Susie VanHuss, published author of many of our classroom textbooks, will be presenting during our general session. We have five concurrent sessions scheduled every hour throughout the day on many topics. Sessions topics include visual design, communication, Office 365, entrepreneurship, Google, keyboarding, and much more. You are sure to have a busy, information, fun-filled day.

Conference registration is $70 until August 15. You may send your conference registration form and fee via USPS to the following:

Amie Crawford, MBEA Treasurer
Instructional Systems & Workforce Development
Mississippi State University BOX 9730
Mississippi State, MS 39762

You may also register online. Here is the link.

For those needing CEU credit, there will be a table with someone to assist you with completing your CEU application and payment.

If you have questions, feel free to contact Dr. Michelle Taylor at She will be glad to assist you.

Have a great day!
