This came in an email to me.  I thought many of you would be interested in it.

Call the Mississippi Council if you have questions.  This is not RCU hosted.

Description: What do the Blues Heritage Trail, Jackson’s Fondren Neighborhood, Peavey Electronics and the Tamale Trail all have in common? They are all part of Mississippi’s Creative Economy. Learn how to teach about our Creative Economy and turn your classroom into part of the Creative Economy. Lesson plans written by the MS Council on Economic Education with a grant from the Mississippi Arts Commission will be unveiled for the first time at this workshop. Teachers that implement what they learn in this workshop may be eligible to compete for seed funds from the MS Arts Commission to get a classroom based business off the ground. Resources developed by the MS Development Authority and the MS Arts Commission will be integrated into this instruction.
